In this interactive series, the focus is on understanding the unique challenges parents of children under age 5 encounter as their children move through the toddler and preschool years. Topics include but are not limited to: effective communication, the link between behaviour and temperament, understanding child development, having appropriate behavioral expectations, and responding to children’s misbehaviour in ways that promote growth and self regulation. Responding to temper tantrums, coping with separation anxiety, teaching social skills such as sharing and turn taking are a few examples of topics that can be included. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
